Found something that does not work as expected? Please report it.
EloGuess is built to make chess rating guessing feel fair. Bug reports help us fix problems with game modes, positions, scoring, leaderboards, statistics, achievements and the overall site experience.
Even a small report can help improve the game for everyone!
What counts as a bug?
You can report anything that seems broken, incorrect, confusing or inconsistent, including:
- a position that does not load;
- a score that seems incorrect;
- a Daily Challenge problem;
- a leaderboard entry that does not submit or display properly;
- statistics, streaks, or achievements not updating;
- avatars not unlocking or showing correctly;
- layout problems on mobile or desktop;
- buttons, links, or menus not working;
What to include in your bug report
When possible, include:
- what you were trying to do;
- what went wrong;
- your browser and device;
- a screenshot or screen recording, if it helps.
Game and position bugs
If the bug is related to a specific chess position, please include as much context as you can.
Helpful details include:
- the mode: Daily, Classic, Exact, or Streak;
- the move or moment where the issue appeared;
- a screenshot of the board or result screen.
Position reports are especially useful because EloGuess depends on fair and readable chess clues.
Leaderboard, stats, and achievement bugs
If your report is about a leaderboard score, statistics, streak, achievement or avatar unlock, please include your leaderboard name if you used one.Send a bug report
